Hey Backers! 

We're about to go into production! We've updated and perfected the Tab Protectors so that they're now Wider, Thicker and have a thick plastic tape on them that keeps them long-lasting!

Once we go into production, it will take about 3-4 Months to complete printing and assembly.  Where we are now, we're hoping to have the games ship from China at the end of August if all goes well!

DUNGEON ZONE

Version 3 of the Dungeon Zone! After much testing and samples! The actual tiles and quantity of them are still subject to change. We're considering removing some of the thinner tiles and changing them to wider rooms so they'll sit flat better.  This would remove some of the thin long rooms, and add larger rooms which sit better. And we'd add hallway parts so you can customize those hallways and dungeon areas. We're still testing a few of those parts. We will keep you all updated on this as we move forward. But overall, it's looking EPIC! Setup in just a couple mins and breakdown in even less time! 

We're working VERY hard to make sure UPZONE is as EPIC as can be!

Super Quick Update! New Samples Incoming!

Hey Backers!

Super quick update! 

We've been waiting a few weeks for the updated samples to test out all of the zone tiles. (Especially Dungeon Tiles!) 

They're finally shipping tomorrow. Unfortunately, the Suez Canal issue from a while back has delayed all shipping from that area. (Air shipping is slower because a ton has gotten so high in volume backed up!) 

Completion is 99% of our graphics - they are done and good to go. Mainly right now we need to get samples from our top manufacturers to make sure we're happy with everything and all quality is where we want it to be for everyone before we go into Mass Production! 

This type of waiting time is worth it, because it helps to ensure that everyone gets the best possible Upzone they can get! :D

As soon as we get the samples (hoping in about 1 week) I will put out another FULL update with images, videos etc of all of the samples so you can get a full feel for our current progress!

We've been working VERY hard on Prototyping, Finalizing Graphics, and perfecting UPZONE for you all! As well as working VERY hard on this Backerkit Pledge Manager!  (Images after Backerkit INFO) 

PLEDGE MANAGER INCOMING! 

Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards. (This will take about 2 days or so to send everyone their survey. )

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey.  When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, upgrade your pledge and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email! 

(We will be doing a small amount of surveys to start as a test to make sure everything works properly before sending it out to everyone. This will take about a day or so. Please be patient as your link will be on the way soon!

IMPORTANT: UPGRADING & CHANGING YOUR PLEDGE!

If you'd like you change your pledge in backerkit - such as Upgrade from Lieutenant to Lord Commander Or General to Lord Commander OR 1 Dollar Pledge to any Full Pledge -> ETC -> There are two places to do this in Backerkit:

1st METHOD - UPGRADE PLEDGE LINK: Click the "Switch Your Pledge Level" Link!

OR 

 2ND METHOD - CLICK ON THE BLUE LINK WITH YOUR PLEDGE AMOUNT AT SECOND SCREEN: 

IMPORTANT: After you respond to your survey, you CAN NOT go back in and change your pledge on your own. You MUST Email us for Assistance at INFO@EVERYTHINGEPIC.US :) If you need help with your pledge and you've already checked out, NO PROBLEM! Just ask us for help! 

 PLEASE BE ADVISED OF TWO IMPORTANT FACTORS:

1) SHIPPING PRICES HAVE GONE UP SIGNIFICANTLY FOR TWO BIG REASONS 

                  A) Worldwide Shipping and Freight prices have all skyrocketed since our campaign for multiple factors that are out of our control. 

                  B) Upzone is made of very high quality and dense cardstock and cardboard. Each zone is upwards of 10-12 Pounds or 5-6 KGs! THAT'S HEAVY! Plus all the Stretch Goals, Shipping Materials (Packing Carton etc) - a Lord Commander Pledge (4 zones plus stretch goals) weighs 50lbs! That's truly EPIC and HEAVY!  

2) EU/UK and Other Areas will be charged VAT / TAX in Backerkit in order to continue with customs friendly shipping. Customs friendly shipping means you won't be charged by your local post office to receive your products. However, we are still charged by your government's VAT which we must pay them. Since Brexit and other EU Laws have changed for Kickstarter, again, this is out of our control and we must charge you VAT and must pay it to your governments.

NEW ZONE SAMPLES: 

We've just got in three new sample prototypes of The Cathedral, The Ancient Zone, and The Dungeon Zone! 

We are very excited! There's certainly a few issues which we will be ironing out with the manufacturer, but it's progress! We're working very hard with them to make this perfect. 

Some minor issues we're working on:

- All artwork will be full bleed and will be a full wrap around the zone tiles (So you won't see the black borders around zone tiles. This was a minor error the manufacturer made in this most recent sample, that didn't exist in our original samples on Kickstarter. This will be fixed immediately. 

- Some boards are slightly tight at the seam which we will be working on perfecting their folds so that everything sits flat and perfectly. Also to protect them from wear and tear. This also applies to The Dungeon Zone, which we are changing the folds on to be "Double-Seam" Folds to make sure they lay nice and flat on the table and can be set perfectly next to each other to create your own dungeon at home! 

Some Great Features: 

- The Tabs are longer and don't come out as easily! This was something we wanted to make sure works great. We're still going to widen them slightly as well and also add a plastic taping ("tab protectors") on each one so they're very durable and reusable. 

- The Cardboard and Stock is very durable. Each zone tile feels very heavy duty for epic game play! 

- The print colors are looking great so far. We're still working on color correction and perfection, but they're looking very good so far!

Quick Update! Hey Upzoners! We're still working hard!

Hey Upzoners!

We know it's been a little while since you've heard from us! However, we've been working hard in the background on a few EPIC Things!

1) Pledge Manager: We've been working hard getting the pledge manager (Backerkit) Finished and up for you all! It's at about 95% right now, just waiting for another couple shipping quotes in order to get you all the best possible pricing. Unfortunately, shipping prices now in 2021 are substantially higher than 2020, but we're working hard to get you the best possible prices. Between the stretch goals, the high quality and dense cardboard and stock we're using, and the size of the product, it's an EPIC product to ship! So we want to be sure we have the best price for you all before launching the pledge manager. 

2) Finalizing the Graphics: As you know, we have a really exciting product, and you saw our prototypes and our 3D Renders of the other zones. Our graphic design team's goal is to perfect them and all of their graphics on the Upzone assets to give you the best and most thematic and immersive product possible. The best way to do this is testing after prototypes are created. (Which is the next section)

3) Prototyping of All Zones: Since the campaign ended, we've been working on the first three zones, getting them perfected and ready for print! They're at a 90% finalized stage which put them in the prototype printing stage! Because of covid and the upcoming Chinese New Year, the prototyping printing has taken a lot longer.  However, here's what they sent me a couple days ago showing the printing progress. They still need to assemble them all and ship them to us so we can test them and make sure they're perfect. Then we can make any adjustments to the graphics as needed and finalize. Take a look: 

We will send you full updates on how the prototypes for The Cathedral Zone (updated tabs), The Dungeon Zone, and The Ancient Zone as soon as we get them!

Also, as soon as the pledge manager is complete, we will send another update! We're hoping to get it out by the end of the week, but we're still waiting on a couple shipping quotes to get you the best pricing!
