Upzone the Original Pop Up Terrain - May 2022 Update

Hello Epic Upzone Backers,

Assembly and Packaging have been Completed! 

That is a lot of Upzone! It is already loaded on pallets and we are securing its place to leave China. 

The State of Shipping 

If you have followed the industry these past months you know that shipping has gotten to be a horrible ordeal with HUGE Expenses way above the Norm by 3-5X.  Upzone is both heavy and large which makes it the prime target for the increasing prices as space becomes more of a premium on shipping vessels.  We have worked very diligently and will get it out of China soon. Please be patient with us as we try our best to find the best pricing for freight and fulfillment to everyone and get them to you as soon as possible! 

Back to more fun stuff ...

As a preview, we want to share an unboxing video of the Cathedral Zone with KS exclusive tile.  Every Zone will be packed using foam for protection.  You can see how fast and easy it will be to get it out of the box and on the table, the person in the video shows this off without even trying.  We are so excited to get Upzone to all of YOU!

For those that are curious, we had extensive testing done and we redesigned the packaging early on to make sure it would be safe. We don't have videos of all of the tests, this is one of them that simulates transit.

Upzone April Update

Hello Backers, 

In our last update, Upzone assembly and packing were estimated to be completed at the end of April.   Upzone is still on track to finish assembly by the end of this month and move out of China immediately after.  In next month's update, we should have more exciting news and a timeline for Fullfiment.

Upzone Quick Timeline Update!

Hello Backers,

Upzone is finishing up printing and has already been underway with assembly and packing. The manufacturer has informed us that everything will be completed end of April.  We have lined up a freight company for once it is ready to move out of China. 45 days after that it should arrive and begin fulfillment immediately. We are looking at a May-June fulfillment if that schedule holds.  

We know delays are never fun, we are working hard to get this to you and making sure it is the most Epic and high quality product it can be! If there are any issues, if you need to update your shipping address please email us at [email protected]

Hello Backers

We hope the holiday season has been kind to you. As we approach the new year we would like to thank each and every one of you for your Epic Support. We know things have not been easy and some will never be the same.  We will continue to do our best to bring you the most Epic products we can. Looking back on 2021 it was not all bad, but, we know 2022 is going to be the most Epic year yet.

Shipping updates

Upzone manufacturing and assembly is underway… assembly is a very time consuming process to ensure top quality and low defects. It's a super simple product to use for you the consumer, but not super simple to assemble properly. Things are going great, but a bit slower than expected.

Unfortunately Upzone will not ship in January. Printing was not the issue, it is the complexity of assembling it that is causing the delay. Some of the zones, such as the Dungeon Zone and the World Tomb Zone are very intricate and as such are taking much longer than expected. We worked with the manufacturer extensively through live video and showed them exactly how it needed to get done. Please rest assured that our hard work is all to ensure you get your product at the highest quality possible… Epic! When we have an exact date that we are shipping from the factory, we will update you and let you know. As of now it is estimated to be a 30 day delay. Which puts shipment from the factory in February.

We hope everyone has a safe and healthy New Year. Let's put 2021 in the rear view with only good things ahead. You are the best backers in the world!
