We've been working VERY hard on Prototyping, Finalizing Graphics, and perfecting UPZONE for you all! As well as working VERY hard on this Backerkit Pledge Manager! (Images after Backerkit INFO)
PLEDGE MANAGER INCOMING!
Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards. (This will take about 2 days or so to send everyone their survey. )
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, upgrade your pledge and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
(We will be doing a small amount of surveys to start as a test to make sure everything works properly before sending it out to everyone. This will take about a day or so. Please be patient as your link will be on the way soon!
IMPORTANT: UPGRADING & CHANGING YOUR PLEDGE!
If you'd like you change your pledge in backerkit - such as Upgrade from Lieutenant to Lord Commander Or General to Lord Commander OR 1 Dollar Pledge to any Full Pledge -> ETC -> There are two places to do this in Backerkit:
1st METHOD - UPGRADE PLEDGE LINK: Click the "Switch Your Pledge Level" Link!
OR
2ND METHOD - CLICK ON THE BLUE LINK WITH YOUR PLEDGE AMOUNT AT SECOND SCREEN:
IMPORTANT: After you respond to your survey, you CAN NOT go back in and change your pledge on your own. You MUST Email us for Assistance at [email protected] :) If you need help with your pledge and you've already checked out, NO PROBLEM! Just ask us for help!
PLEASE BE ADVISED OF TWO IMPORTANT FACTORS:
1) SHIPPING PRICES HAVE GONE UP SIGNIFICANTLY FOR TWO BIG REASONS
A) Worldwide Shipping and Freight prices have all skyrocketed since our campaign for multiple factors that are out of our control.
B) Upzone is made of very high quality and dense cardstock and cardboard. Each zone is upwards of 10-12 Pounds or 5-6 KGs! THAT'S HEAVY! Plus all the Stretch Goals, Shipping Materials (Packing Carton etc) - a Lord Commander Pledge (4 zones plus stretch goals) weighs 50lbs! That's truly EPIC and HEAVY!
2) EU/UK and Other Areas will be charged VAT / TAX in Backerkit in order to continue with customs friendly shipping. Customs friendly shipping means you won't be charged by your local post office to receive your products. However, we are still charged by your government's VAT which we must pay them. Since Brexit and other EU Laws have changed for Kickstarter, again, this is out of our control and we must charge you VAT and must pay it to your governments.

NEW ZONE SAMPLES:
We've just got in three new sample prototypes of The Cathedral, The Ancient Zone, and The Dungeon Zone!
We are very excited! There's certainly a few issues which we will be ironing out with the manufacturer, but it's progress! We're working very hard with them to make this perfect.
Some minor issues we're working on:
- All artwork will be full bleed and will be a full wrap around the zone tiles (So you won't see the black borders around zone tiles. This was a minor error the manufacturer made in this most recent sample, that didn't exist in our original samples on Kickstarter. This will be fixed immediately.
- Some boards are slightly tight at the seam which we will be working on perfecting their folds so that everything sits flat and perfectly. Also to protect them from wear and tear. This also applies to The Dungeon Zone, which we are changing the folds on to be "Double-Seam" Folds to make sure they lay nice and flat on the table and can be set perfectly next to each other to create your own dungeon at home!
Some Great Features:
- The Tabs are longer and don't come out as easily! This was something we wanted to make sure works great. We're still going to widen them slightly as well and also add a plastic taping ("tab protectors") on each one so they're very durable and reusable.
- The Cardboard and Stock is very durable. Each zone tile feels very heavy duty for epic game play!
- The print colors are looking great so far. We're still working on color correction and perfection, but they're looking very good so far!
